Become a Friend of Energy Core Volunteer

One of our core tenants at Friends of Energy Institute is to Support Teachers. We’re really proud of the impact we’ve had through our annual Catalyst Conferences and through the infusion of grant funds into classrooms.

We believe the next step in furthering that support is to create a database of volunteers that teachers can reference in order to:

• Select guest speakers for class

• Invite in project mentors

• Seek field experience hosts

Your contact information would not be shared out directly to teachers. However, they would be able to see your areas of expertise and your preferred methods of volunteering.

Teachers at EIHS are the creative force behind student programming. Connecting teachers to our volunteers is the best way to integrate Houston’s STEM and energy community into EIHS classrooms.
