VOLUNTEER: Fall 2024 Senior Exhibition
TUESDAY, November 19th | 5 - 6:30 PM | 3501 Southmore Boulevard, Houston TX 77004
Seniors at Energy Institute High School demonstrate their mastery of the engineering design process through a Capstone project. They are tasked with identifying a problem in their community, conducting research on current market solutions, designing a solution to fill the current gap, and building a functional prototype.
At the Spring Senior Exhibition, the project group deemed to have engineered the best solution is awarded laptops.
Fall Exhibition serves as an opportunity for our senior project groups to receive essential feedback to help the refine their designs before they begin building their prototypes in the Spring. We rely on our corporate volunteers to help elevate their learning process.
What to Expect:
Find parking at the entrances on Southmore Boulevard or Tierwester Street
Enter the A-Building facing Southmore Boulevard and find the welcome center in BP Hub located to the left of the main stairway where you will receive direction from the Dean of Instruction
You will then listen to student presentations, ask questions, and leave written feedback for each project group you hear
